Please be fully aware that garments which have stored for long periods of time, due to COVID for example, MIGHT HAVE INSECT DAMAGE that will not be exposed until AFTER the cleaning and pressing process which flushes away compromised fibers. The likely result will be small holes throughout the garments.
(No household, regardless of cleanliness, is immune from this possibility.) Items with any wool content such as suits, sweaters, coats or dress slacks would be the most likely, but not the only victims of any potential insect damage.
